Methods of the Training
Training course includes didactic lectures, problem based learning discussion and hands-on session.
Combined with Endoluminal and Technology Symposium lectures.
Lectures to be cover:
- Improve your skills: the rigid ureteroscopes
- Improve your skills: the flexible ureteroscopes
- Improve your skills: PCNL puncture
- What we are learn on Hands-on session
Problem Based Learning (PBL):
Each trainee are required to prepare case for discussion and do presentation on the same day at Endoluminal and Technology Symposium. Faculties will provide guidance and support during the session. Candidates who got accepted to the course must bring your own laptop computer.
Key Procedures cover during Hands on Learning:
- Semi-rigid and flexible URS
- PCNL
- Handling of lithotripsy devices

Selection criteria:
All eligible trainees should already have some basic endoscopic exposure and committed to attend the full course of the training. Applicants are selected based on their background, experience and attitude to learn.
Successful applicants will be notified approximately 1 month before the commerce of the course upon review by the course director and coordinators.
Expenses covered by AUSTEG:
- Round trip economy flights / train ticket to destination (max. USD $400)
- Maximum 2 nights of accommodation (Arranged by AUSTEG)
- Meals during workshop
